Eyvind, the Goatherd, dwells in a cave north of the Deep Mountains lake. He has lived in Stardew Valley for decades, watching its growth as a mining town, and then witnessing its decline. A series of disheartening, and in some cases tragic, events have led him to isolate himself from the humans of the village. Now he lives in the mountains, alone, save for his small herd of strange black goats.

Coming off at first as gruff, perhaps a little bit fierce, Eyvind values actions over words and gifts, and will gain respect with the farmer throughout his events.
