6 Summer
Josephine (mother)Oliver was an unexpected late-life baby. He was very ill as a child and spent a lot of his younger years in hospital. He is healthy now, but his mother has a tendency to smother him and treat him somewhat like he's still a child. He likes video games and role-playing with his friends, and is thus quite upset when his parents decide that, for the state of his health (and possibly also due to the war), they should go and stay in the countryside. When he first comes to Pelican Town he is shy, and a little sulky, because he's had to leave his video games and friends behind. During his story arc, the farmer can help him learn to appreciate the countryside, watch as he makes new friends (some of them somewhat... unusual) and begin to "find himself" and determine his path in life.
Josephine and Oliver will arrive at the East Scarp Inn during fall of year one.
