Mateo is an NPC added by the Sword and Sorcery mod by DestyNOVA. Having recently returned to the Valley, they have set up camp on East Scarp's beach in the interest of reconnecting with the townsfolk, but they'll need a gentle push and empathetic ear to do so. Despite the weight on their shoulders and the sword strapped to their back, Mateo is a gentle soul with good leadership skills and a drive to protect their friends and loved ones.
